What Are Seed-Bombs?
Seed bombs can be traced back to ancient Japan when they were used as a farming technique known as tsuchi dango (earth dumpling). Farmers would mix seeds with clay, shape them into small balls, and then scatter them.
They provide a simple, practical approach to seed dispersal, especially for wildflowers making them an easy way to re-wild patches of land.

Seed-Bombs
Our Seed-Bombs
Created from a mix of clay, compost and British native wildflower seeds, our bombs are easy to use, making it simple to re-wild a patch of garden or allotment or grow a little wildflower oasis in a pot, window box or flower bed.
All our seed-bombs are designed not just to grow beautiful native flowers but also to help wildlife in your garden.
Bee bombs feature wildflowers that are perfect for pollinators such as bees and butterfliers, Hog-Bombs incorporate low flowering species that encourage insect life critical to the diet of wild hedgehogs and Bat-Bombs include evening-flowering varieties to help bats to feed on night insects.
Wildflower Hearts
Seed-Bombs
Designed for gifting, these little hearts (approx 2cm across) are made from clay, compost and wildflower seeds recommended by the RHS as "perfect for pollinators". Each seed-bomb is topped with real petals, leaves or seeds and come mounted in a kraft box, tied with jute twine and featuring a real pressed flower.
